I have to answer this question in a project for art college! Its a bit mad so any ideas are welcome! I guess it could be anything!

I have thought of a few answers

......a chip
................a tomato
................................a toenail

I would say a bird, based on altitude....fish live lowest below sea level, birds live the highest above.

Well let's think logically.
The opposite of a fish would breath air.
The opposite of a fish would not have eyes
The opposite of a fish would not have scales or fins
The opposite of a fish would not eat bugs/other fish
The opposite of a fish would not swim or go in water

I'm going to say a worm, but there are problems with that - it does need moisture for it's skin and some people eat worms, as well as fish

i cant think of a particular thing but surely it wouldn't have a fin or not be able to swim...

Probably a bird. Or a squirrel. Hedgehog. Something trippy and irrelevant like that.

A bird would be the first thing that springs to mind if you want to put a specific animal to an element.

e.g.

Bird is to air as fish is to sea :)

Id say bird, I guess because the fish is in the water which is like the furthest down sort of, and the bird is like the opposite in the sky which is like furthest up sort of.
Good luck
