What is the normal dose of Paxil for anxiety

Hi, I been taking paxil 20mg for a few years and I was doing great on it I recently was prescribe clonazepam 1mg to take at night because I was having panic attacks but I still feel anxious during the day. I was thinking of asking my doctor to raise the dose of paxil from 20 to 30mg. I was wondering if anybody has done this and what were some the side effects from raising the dose. Please share your experience.

I recently started taking Clonazepam after taking 20mg of Paxil for about 3 months. I decreased my Paxil intake by 10mg and take it along with .5mg of Clonazepam about an hour after I wake up and then another .5mg a bit later depending on if I need it. I personally find taking Clonazepam early in the day works better for me. By the way, I don't have panic attacks, just GAD, and other anxiety disorders so take it for what it's worth.
