What is the next step in this situation?

I am an 18 year old male who, for five years, has experienced various symptoms (vertigo, sinus and other infection, breathlessness, joint pains, chronic tention head ache, severe muscle weakness etc...) that are caused by one of two factors.

A) TMJ in the jaw joint
B) Hyperthyroidism

Though this a serious problem that needs medical attention and not YA's, I am terribly terrified of needle injections and blood tests. Since I've tried so many alternatives to correct my issue like consulting many different specialists through the past years and still not getting an accurate diagnosis (i.e. I was given prescriptions for depression that I refused to take) , I am prolonged to take any more actions to this very day and I live a very miserable misunderstood lifestyle with feelings of worthlesness.

My only point of view is, I can not take an action with out a cause to do so because, my treturous symptoms that exist as I type, put a fear in me. After being ordered blood work and professionally informed that this very well sounds like a case of hyperthyroidism or another thyroid disorder, there is still a hold on me because the two disorders I have listed share many of the same symptoms and I do not want to take the wrong action that could result in more danger.
