I learned this piano solo back in college and can only remember how to play the first part. I want to buy the sheet music (or the piano book it is in) but can't find what I'm looking for. I'm hoping someone can help me.
The composer is Eugenie Rocherolle.
The song starts with the quarter note chord D, F, A continuously repeated in the right hand.
The melody is picked up in the left hand after 8 chords.
The melody goes E, C, A, B, A (dotted quarter, eight, dotted quarter, eight, dotted quarter)
A, B, C, E, A, B, C, B, A, B, C (all eighth notes except last note)
I know that isn't a lot to go on but I'm hoping someone out there knows the name of the solo or the name of the book it is found in. Fingers crossed. Happy hunting.
