what is the name of this horror movie which aired on syfy, it might have been...

...a short movie? there was this horror i saw on syfy between 3-6 years ago. i don't remember a lot of the story or how it started. all i remember is that there was a man who lived in some house it was a huge house or a mansion of some sort. i think he might have inherited it and was asked to donate it but he didn't and ended up moving in. when he moved in he thought it was strange since the house had so many light bulbs everywhere and they were always on. he learned this was because the house was haunted and if there was a shadow in the house it would try to kill him so he had to keep all the light on at all times at the end of the movie he had some huge searchlight and was trying to keep the shadows away from him i dont remember but maybe they were getting stornger or something and i think they might have gone onto his face so he shone this big searchlight into his face and then couldnt see anything and i think he went blind and couldnt tell where the shadows were and if the lights were on. this was probably how the movie ended but im not sure. this movie has always stayed with me and i really want to know the name of it so i can watch it again sorry for the lengthy description but i really want someone to recognize this.
