Okay it's driving me crazy and I want to read it again....This is all I remember: A girl about 15 maybe? writes in her journal a lot and she only lives with her sister and mother (maybe a brother too i don't remember) and she works at a stand (im pretty sure its a magazine stand) It takes place somewhere that has no cities. I don't remember there being any cars. I remember them walking everywhere and they were poor (not for where they lived though it was a really small community)
this is what MIGHT be in this book I might be getting it mixed up with another book. -her sister gets pregnant and then shes reading this book about the pregnancy and then the girl (main character) reads it too and loves reading her sisters notes in the book and she always goes to this one place (i think it was a tree near her house)
