I read a book that I liked a lot but I cannot remember the title. It took place in India and was about a male teacher. He begins private lessons for a student and has an affair with her. At one point in the novel his wife's father dies and they stay at that home, which is very opulent. I can provide details of the ending, however I will do so if asked as I do not want to ruin it for any potential readers.
