Ok, so quite a while back i read this book. It had already been out a long time so i don't think it is new, the thing is - I can't remember what it is called!
This is what i can remember of it:
It was a teenage girls' book, (possibly a pink/purple cover) about a girl whose grandad/uncle/dad was a stunt director/double on a film set. The girl really admired him and wanted to be like him when she grew up since she was pretty athletic herself. All I can remember after that is that she was trying to solve a mystery which involved water from a farm river which was poisoned, or something, and the daughter of the farm owners had gone swimming in it and was now in hospital. It had action in and ended on a (sort of) cliff hanger. I think it had a guy in called Aaron (or something else beginning with an 'A') who was bad and supposedly dead towards the end, yet he left the main girl a note at the end to create the cliffy
