...campers and falls in love? I want to say it is called "The Princess Condition" but I can't find it any where online. It is about a girl who hates the great outdoors and is partnered with an outdoorsy guy (named Jess or Jesse or Jake?). She brings her hairdryer along, etc. They fall in love when the outdoorsy guy falls ill during a storm and the protagonist prepares stew for the campers. On the cover of the book, there's a girl with a perm who is talking on the telephone and painting her nails. I am pretty sure it is a part of a series of romance novels from the 80s, but I'm not sure which one.
