I have been listening to this song in my friend's car when we drive home from rehearsals, but I always forget to ask him.
The vibe of the song is almost like Gotan Project, but I know that this song is rather old. It has female singer that sings in English, but recites in French in the middle of the song, before choruses.
The song starts with the instruments playing chorus and then the singer comes in.
The chorus has bass that mostly stays in primary tone of the song, say E, although that other instruments change harmonies. If the song is in E then harmonies would be Em, D#dim, B, Em in verses. Sometimes verses continue to C, D#dim, B, Em. (B is european H). I am guessing this, I'm not that good musician
The song has some accordion or bandeon in the middle. Throughout some interesting synths sound is playing relatively high.
And my friend, I remember only this, mentioned some guy Sly that composed it or produced it - maybe Sly Stone but I cannot find that song even with that info.
