I once read a book about a poor sick girl whose doctor recommended ice-skating or that she get out more often and she decided to pick up ice-skating im not really sure anyhow she started skating and she meet this girl at the rink who had won some contests and was and quite full of herself. the girl was rich and her mother paid for the poor girl to take lessons and keep her daughter company but the girl got better than her daughter because her daughter was playing the fool and the daughter got jealous of the girl- i think her name was georgina os something with a g in it- anyway her daughter told the girl she had better lose in the contest she was entering or she would tell her mother she doesn't want to skate with her anymore. so the girl faked being sick but in the end she did skate at the competition and she won i think .
