unevenly? Or is it faulty binding? The pages are cut with a blade, but they are different lengths and stick out unevenly. When viewed from above, the pages stick out in a zigzag pattern. I don't know if it is a publishing error, or if it is does on purpose. The best answer would contain a link to a reputable website that confirms (hopefully) that this technique is done purposefully!
