The little girl became orphaned because her mother passed away and her father went missing. She was forced to live with her (aunt/uncle?) relatives who only had her around for the inheritance that her father left behind for her. Eventually she runs away from her aunt and uncles home to find her father and later on comes across this amusement park. The guy she meets eats oreos and offers her some. He notices her name on the milk carton and traps her on the top of the farris wheel so her relatives can come get her for the reward. Later on she escapes into a steam boat and goes to her father's cottage (in Quebec maybe?..something canadian) and when her relatives try to abduct her, to take her home once again, the cottage gets set on fire by an oil lamp. At this point her father comes in and rescues her (with a helicopter i want to say). Thats all I remember and its bugging me that I don't remember this movie! Dx
