What is the most you'd spend on a pair of denim shorts?

IDC if it's short shorts or knee shorts., whatever is your style. What is the MAX you'd spend on them? Thanks!

PS: Do you think $30.00 is a lot for cute jean shorts?
 
I must say that $30 is too much for just a pair of denim shorts. How about checking out some online shops and you might use your $30 for 2 to 3 pairs of shorts?
