Last week I decided to unroot my Droid1 because I was going to send it in for warranty service. Turns out all my problems with my phone disappeared when I unrooted and went back to plain ol' Froyo.

Since there is no point in sending the phone in anymore I've decided to root again but this time I wanted to use a more stable MOD. I was on cyanogen which had some nice features but I think I could live without them.

This time around I want to use a MOD that would be considered one of, if not, the most stable ROM for the Moto Droid. The purpose of me rooting is simply to overclock to at least 800mhz. I've heard that Bugless Beast is considered to be pretty stable on the Moto Droid. Is there any other ROM anyone can suggest? Thanks in advance.
The speech to text stopped working immediately. Although not a problem initially, recently the camera stopped working, the wi-fi would not pick up any signals, and the GPS would literally take about 4-5 minutes to find a signal just about in any location. This is why I unrooted and was about to send it for repairs. However, once I unrooted and set it back to factory settings everything worked flawlessly again.

Sorry about the MOD-ROM mix up. I actually knew that as you can see from me referring to it correctly initially. I have no clue why I started calling it a ROM later in the post.
