What is the most powerful weapon ever used in war?

if your talking about actual weapons, i'd say (obviously) some missile, tank, ship, sub, etc.

I'd vote Nuclear Submarine. Goes undetected until it wants to strike...anywhere on the earth.
 
The power of the pen. If the American Media had done their job right in 2003, we would never have stood for "shock and awe" and 250,000 dead Iraqis 5 years later. Yeah, everyone talks about "our" casualties...well add 4,000 American dead to that number and make it 254,000 of our casualties. Can all of your out there begin to think globally??? "cause those politicians are busy using your $$$ to save their global banking system so they think way, way beyond the nation state concept but they sure can use it rhetorically to get you to act against your own best interests.
