I got an offer from dealer says that they have found a car for me.
it is 1996 acura 2.5 TL premium package with 129000 miles on it, however we could work on a deal to make it 5000ish, as i said to him that was my budget. If the car is in perfect condition, what is the most money i should spend? and how does the car handle roads?(for the owners)
where are you from?

$5000 is way too much for that car, don't forget it's going to be 13 yrs old!
I'll sell you my 1998 3.0 CL for that price. It's black on black premium package. I have 118750 miles on it

I would offer $4400, but if they definitely wouldn't budge, I'd get it. Keep in mind though that a 13 year old car is incredibly outdated safety wise. It won't have side airbags, curtain airbags, ESP, TCS, or dual stage airbags. Or active head restraints. Or nearly the structural integrity of a newer car.
You may think that there have not been many recent improvements in safety, but ESP acrdng to Toyota will reduce the total # of accidents in half, and Side airbags reduce the chance of serious injury in a collision by something like 33%, which could easily mean your life.
However, in your budget, these safety features are out of the question. There, now I am done my rant.

As for the handling, it probably handles relatively well for a car of that age. The TL has sport suspension, however inferior it is to todays cars. Good, though, for this price range.
