At the beginning of last year (my first time applying for financial aid) my husband was not working and has never worked in the US before. He started working later in the year. He made about $22000 working only 6 months. He does not support me in any way, we are separated but not legally (we have to make it look like we live together), and because I make very low wage I was able to qualify for financial aid. Now that we had to file taxes joint and I found out how much money he makes, I'm afraid I will lose my financial aid.
