I'm 13 and usually healthy. I ahve a family history with heart problems, and I've had stomache diseases such as gastritus and gastroperecesI was doing my schoolwork at school and all of a sudden my heart hurt really bad. It felt like I was being stabbed. It hurt when I breathed and I had to take short breaths and couldn't really move. I didn't want to tell the teacher because I was scared I would have to go to the ER. This happens to me a lot, but on Friday it wouldn't go away. It's the longes it has ever stayed there. It was there for about a half an hour. Was I having a monor Heart Attack?

It is a possibility that you could have had a small heart attack.Next time this happens don't let it go tell your teacher, mom or someone,if you have to go to ER it will be for the best to find out,if it was a small heart attack(and it may not have been)the next one could be big.I had a small heart attack and the only symptoms I had was a huting like in a small circle around my heart and into my back and several sharp shooting pains across my heart.Get this checked out.You have some very serious stomach problems to be so young,I also have gastritis, ulcers and gastroperesis for almost 2 years now but the ulcers I have had since I was 14.Do you have diabetes,I do and that is why I have gastroperesis,it can really scare you at times and the medicine to treat it has horrible side effects.I just said a prayer for you.Good luck.

If I get heart pain I call on the name of the Lord and it goes away. Can't you pray? If not, then you better see the doctor. But also we can get pain in that area just from stress. I would see the doctor if I were you, though, because heart problems run in your family, and it may be serious.

Chest pain is not always related to your heart, and given the little bit of health history that you gave I'd put money that your pain is the result of gastrointestinal problems. In any case, it's something you should see a health practitioner about.
