An extraterrestrial civilization wanted to teleport themselves and their planet to a parallel universe.
They tried to do that by placing themselves in spaceships on the orbit of their planet and by making their planet spin extremely fast. It is known by scientists that a very dense body that spins very fast can
alter the space-time continuum to a significant degree.
So the extraterrestrial civilization tried to place themselves and their planet outside the space-time continuum of our universe and to enter a parallel universe by using the method I have mentioned.
They tried this and their planet ended into a gravitational collapse. Their planet shrinked gradually, first it became a ball of fire, its gravitational pull increased and all of the spaceships on the planet's orbit were pulled towards the fiery planet and destroyed. Except one spaceship which accelerated near the speed of light. It was the spaceship of the leader of the civilization. The rest of the civilization perished
The planet collapsed and became a black hole. Since the space-time continuum has been altered, the survivor - the spaceship of the leader ended up in a different time and in a different space in our Universe.
You could have heard the extraterrestrial civilization saying before its destruction:
"Brothers and sisters! This is the begining of a new age! We will ascend to become the Lords in a parallel universe! We will create there a Home for Us!"
They hoped to become like gods and ended up dying.
Their leader survived. The spaceship of the leader ended up landing on Earth in a past time.
