i want to move to the philippines and get married. i know all the risks involved about trusting people. i want to start a small business to support my family there. i have read that the foodcart business is becoming very popular there. the lady i intend to marry is very well business minded and college educated. i was just wondering if anyone else out there has done this kind of business in the philippines or knows someone who has and can tell me about their experiences and give me a realistic estimate on what kind of money can be made in such a venture. i have read that such a business can be started for as little as $500 usd, but i am thinking by the time the cart is purchased, supplies for one month, the price of renting a stall, and the cost of business permits are paid, the total cost would be closer to $1000 usd. any input will be helpful.

9 out of 10 businesses have failed in the phil,,,for the past 5 years...i guess you can be that special 1....with your 1000 dollars...
