What is the lifespan of a 1999 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100?

I want to look at one with 13000 miles and receipts for Honda maintenance. What is the lifespan of these engines? I've read they have good reliability. Are there any other items to watch out for?
What would be an equivalent to miles in a V-6 car?
 
The life span depends on 2 different things
1) How it is ridden
2) How it is maintained
There is no crystal ball for this. ANd mileage is mileage be it car, truck or bicycle.
