I am trying to decide which party to join, and so far, based on what I have been reading from the Libertarian Party's website, their party best matches my views and opinions, and I am a conservative! Anyway, my father owns a house in Brooklyn, NY, and his apartment building was deemed as a Rent-Controlled apartment building. This has really hurt my family financially. We invest a lot of money into repairs and utilities, and some tenants are paying as low as (I believe) $250-$400 for a THREE BEDROOM apartment! As the heir, this really pisses me off. I would like to know if anyone knew the Libertarian Party's standpoint on rent-control laws, because I can't seem to find anything on their website, or perhaps I am not looking hard enough. Share your opinions on the matter (rent control) as well!
