I'm considering buying a firearm for my home during the recession. The thing is, there has been a spike in home burglaries in my city, and I attribute that to the recession, as people are seeking more desperate ways to raise money. Most of these burglaries are done during the middle of the day while people are away at work, but still, there's always the chance that someone would try to break in while I'm home.
Anyway, in the case that I have to transport my firearm via my car, what is the legal way to carry it?
I heard you have to keep the clip in the glove box and the pistol in the trunk? I'm not sure how it works. Thanks.
I'm sorry -- I live in California (L.A.)
