I mean something bolt in. Maybe get some new engine mounts, but nothing that involves any serious modifications like cutting into the firewall. I don't want any dumb answers like anything is possible if you have the money. Well I have the money, but I don't want to chop up my car. I know there aren't any V8s that will fit. I know almost all Honda B,K,H, and D series will fit. I was looking at the H22 and K20A which is what pretty much everyone uses for a simple powerful swap. I want something unique like the straight 5 G series motor or a small V6. I want to fill the entire engine bay but not cram it in. Any ideas for something unique?
I have a 1993 Honda Del Sol Si with the D16Z6 non v-tec 1.6L engine and a 5-speed manual/standard/stick transmission. I plan on buying a 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT Fastback if I ever manage to find one. I know I will do a Hatchback conversion on the Fiero and bolt in a 3800SC engine. I want to keep my honda however and was wondering what engine I can put in it other than H series, D series, and K series.
