What is the job outlook for wildlife photographers?

Unless you have a large budget and backing the market is the pits.

There are a few categories that simply don't pay unless your "in"

Landscapes, animals, food, flowers, pets, and some others are well known to be ones to avoid. The problem is that eveyone wants to do them and the market is over saturated with them. To stand out from the crowd, you need things that nobody has ever seen. That is why you need a large budget and backing. You would most likely be spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on a daily basis.

Of course you can shoot these things all you want, the trick is getting someone to pay you for them.
