My career goal is to make a stable income as a high school history instructor. I have made specific plans to get into a teaching internships later next semester where I would act as a TA for a teacher in my old high school. The only main concern that is bugging me is the lackluster demand for history teachers (esp the district where I live in where 200 teachers have been laid off). If this continues the only option left on the table is to double up on a math concentration to insure a teaching position in either history or math, but I'm afraid that this is not enough
