i know that someone has posted the poem on a different question, but that's the one from the movie. when i read the book, i swear there was more to it but i cant remember. if you can, please let me know what it is.

The poem is called "If Only" and it was written by Louis Sachar and published in his book "Holes."

“If only, if only…”
The moon speaks no reply,
Reflecting the sun and all that’s gone by.
Be strong, my weary wolf;
Turn around boldly.
Fly high, my baby bird—
My angel, my only.

“If only, if only,”
The woodpecker sighs,
“The bark on the trees was as soft as the skies.”
While the wolf waits below, hungry and lonely;
Crying to the moon,
“If only, if only…”

It's actually considered a lullaby, actually. That book is awesome reading. I love the movie too with Shia LaBeouf!! Hope my information has helped you. :D
