I have a 1999 Mazda B3000 pickup truck and seem to have misplaced the owner's manual at this point in time. However, I wanted to know if anyone on here could tell me what the fuel tank capacity (in gallons) is for a 1999 Mazda B3000, extended cab, 3.0 L V6 motor, manual 4 speed transmission w/overdrive would be.
I want to know because I think my fuel gage is screwed up. It is very erratic, and will do things such as stay on F for a week then finally start to move after that, or it will read F when the engine is started, then 5 minutes later the needle will be at a little less than a half tank. When it says I have a quarter tank left, I will fill it up sometimes and will only be able to get 10 gallons in it. This makes me wonder how big the fuel tank is, or if my fuel gage is screwed up.
So what do you guys think? How big is the fuel tank on these trucks? Thanks in advance.
