What is the formula for determining temperature from how many times a cricket chirps in a minute?

I think some of you Seniors would know the answer to this one. A cricket is chirping loudly a couple feet away. Kind of a nice sound considering it was too hot even at night all summer long for a cricket to chirp.

Interesting answers.

It seem like the crickets started chirping
as soon as we began having cooler evenings.

They sure are loud.

Learned something new.
Thank You.

Right now I have a cricket chirping very close to my thermometer bulb. I counted his chirps, there are 66 in a minute and the temperature is 66 degrees. Amazing, that comes very close to the formula Rich Z gave you. According to the formula it should be 72 degrees here instead of 66. My thermometer could be off four degrees. I learned something today, thanks guys.
