I have an idea for an app that would be very helpful for my photography. I have an android phone so I would like to make the app for android but I know many people with iphones who could use such an app as well.
I did learn basic back in middle school, know a tiny bit of java, and was trying to learn python before I completely gave up on programming. I am willing to spend the time to learn a new programming language I just want to know what some of you would think is the best route to take to make a multi-platform mobile application.
I was thinking of an HTML 5 app but the app will require to be able to access the phone's camera, and the phones GPS function.
thank you for any advice
when I say HTML 5 app I ment HTML CSS and Javascript.
I know that HTML has a lot of neat tools for offline web applications such as offline application caching APIs ,online/offline events, and localStorage API
also at last years google I/O, Google anounced that Android 2.2 would give HTML5 access to the camera as well as the magnetometer and accelerometer and voice functions. I was hoping GPS would be part of that list but I am not sure.
