...school? I want to get an MS degree in biological sciences before I go to medical school. I have an engineering background. My GPA is low, about 3.0 or below a hair (didn't calculate it), and my gre scores are 740 quantitative and 710 verbal. Any of the IVYs will do, I am not looking for program difficulty or ranking, but school prestige with a nice campus and intellectual atmosphere. Do I have any chances?
I also like Amherst and Georgetown has this thing called SMP where you take medical courses and get a masters, and it has good acceptance rate to med school if you stay in the program, I just barely make the suggested GPA to get in. It was designed for under achievers wanting to boost there chances to get in.
oh, i made deans list like the last 3 semesters and a 4.0 the last 2 semester of undergrad...I drank heavy amounts of Budweiser before then.
