...Coding(Hosptial)? Okay so I am looking into getting a certification doing medical billing or medical coding. What is the difference between the three? I was going to do the course work through AAPC. Their options are medical billing, medical coding for physician's offices, and medical coding for outpatient hospital/facility. What is the difference? I know that there is a price difference.
The medical coding for outpatient hospital/facility requires an exam. I know that is a difference.
Also, which is the best environment to work in?
