so... i have looked up this question on the net and on yahoo answers before and got non-answer answers. when you go to book stores there are things in the "literature" section that seem to be very random. everything from romeo and juliet to the time travelers wife. but in yet another book store...totally different. what gives? people always give me definitions that sound oddly similar to one another. so is literature just really a piece of written work that "someone" thinks is really great so they just throw it into the literature section or is there a method to the madness?
