what is the difference between BA in "Biological Sciences" and a BS in Biology?

Hi, im looking to get a degree in biology with future plans on getting into medical school. One undergrad school has a BA biological sciences degree program and another school im considering has a BS biology degree program. I would like to know which one will better prepare me for medical school..and which one is a more functional degree?
