What is the difference between a "Defensive Driving Course" and a "Driver's

Defensive course is an advanced, optional training for those who want to know how to operate their motor vehicle in a safer manner, especially in toddy's world of poor driving training to begin with; they teach techniques that you do not learn in the basic drivers training

I'm pretty sure a Defensive Driving Course is something you're made to take if you get ticketed for road rage or something. Driver's Education Courses are taken to acquire a driver's level 1 graduation license, which is commonly known as a driving learner's permit. Under the permit a driver has to get in a total of 50 hours of driving logged with a licensed and designated driver at least 21 years old, at least 10 of which occurred at night. After the learner as accumulated his/her 50 hours, then he/she will take a road test to get his/her level 2 license which is almost a full license. The only restriction on the level 2 license is that the driver may not drive between 12am and 5am. Once the driver turns 18 years of age, he/she can go to the Secretary Of State and receive his/her level 3 license, which is the full driver's license.
