What is the debate about abortion?

i'm sure you know what the argument is. it is about who deserves to be protected by the law, the kid or the mother. at least that's my take on it. and i believe that if the mother absolutely does not want to have a child, she should have used enough protection.
 
Some people believe abortions are for women who weren't careful when they were being sluts. They want to punish 'easy' women by forcing them to have unwanted children.

The debate is basically between pro-choice and pro-life. Some people believe that a woman should have a choice whether or not, and some believe that if you are going to have intercourse, you should have the baby no matter what. They believe that the unborn baby has the right to live.
