First the public is outraged by the AIG bonuses; me included. Then the President and Congress (House of Representatives) jump on the bandwagon. The house passes a bill that taxes the bonuses by 90%. So what's the deal, are the bonuses moral or not? If they are not then why do they still get 10%? Then the Senate says to the House, 'Not so fast, we need to think about this, make sure we understand the consequences.' They talked about retaining the brightest people; aren't these the self-interested souls that created this entire mess in the first place, and now they are positioning themselves to get huge bonuses for a colossal mess affecting everyone terribly?!? I say who needs them, go wherever you will, and hurry! Then the Sentate and the Financial industry adds, bonuses are better than forcing the compensation into a salary, because then in a lean year salaries still have to be paid but bonuses don't. So what is the deal, isn't this AWFUL year and they are still sending out GIANT bonuses?!? What am I missing? Isn't this the biggest pile of rubbish we have ever heard coming out of intellectual people really good at getting money away from everyone, or what?

It was all included in the deal Obama signed. Of course he never read it and now he is all jumping up and down saying how bad it it. I agree. It is bad. But he signed off on it. Blame him and the fools that work for him.
