The cultural frame is to do with the culture about which the artwork is.
a Contemporary artwork is created in a culture with the need of new, unique, witty and crazy ideas. One that would catch the eye of a person stuck in today's busy and fast-paced world.
When looking at an Aboriginal Artwork through the cultural frame you should note the story behind the artwork and how it fits into their culture.
It's jsut basically how the culture around the place/time the artwork was created impacts on it's overall look.
Good Luck.
If you need anymore help email me, I've been looking at artworks through those irritating frames for assignments for 3 years.
