What is the color image format for WML pages?

Please, tell me if you know! What is the standard graphic format for WML images. I heard it is wbmp, but it is black and white. I made a JPG and converted it's extension to wbmp, it worked on my Nokia 3510i, but it didn't work on my Nokia 7210.

Please help me!
