What is the Christian position on modern laws, laws that 'post-date' the Bible?

e.g. taking Cocaine.

Personally, I would regard this as fairly wrong: to bring someone that drug, people have died, theft has occured etc etc. But I'm not talking about doing wrong by proxy, by propagating the wrongs by increasing demand for the substance.

What I mean, is that 'does the Bible recognise legal systems?' Does it actually condemn legal systems? What is it's position?

Men make cocaine illegal, thereby creating a whole matrix of further wrong, sinful and criminal events, as opposed to the substance being made by a pharmaceutical company (which may facilitate some lesser matrix of wrong and sinful events I guess).

Is God the only one who can judge or 'make laws' that aren't flawed?
