Jimmy Carter, U. S. PResident brokered a peace treaty between Israel and Egypt. Menachaim Begin(Israel and Anwar Sadat, Egypt met at Camp David Maryland to have peace conferences. It is the only peace treaty in that area of the world that has held up.
