The group is a bunch of elitists that originally looked for ways to stem the growth of anti-Americanism in Western Europe, and to promote understanding between the cultures of United States of America and Western Europe. Critics say the Bilderberg Group promotes the careers of politicians whose views are representative of the interests of multinational corporations.
