What is the best way to learn logic circuit design?

I am a second year electronics engineering student. This is the first time I'm taking logic circuit design and our professor and his book aren't helping me much to learn the whole concept. Do you know any book, website, ... to help me learn better (I'm a dummy)? We are learning the latch (D-latch, Flip-Flops, ... ) and I have midterm next week!
