What is the best way to get around the Gravity problem when writing about

colonizing planets? I am trying to write a Hard Sci-Fi story that takes place in our solar system. Basic plot is a convict is sent to a prison on Pluto and has to escape before the low gravity of the planet makes his body adjust to near weightlessness and incapable of survival on any larger worlds. He needs to escape and make his way back to Earth (going from planet to planet)

I want it to be as accurate as possible but while doing research on possible pit stops for him to make on the journey (inter-planetary travel can take months, the book will take place over about a year)

But I don't think any moons/planets are big enough, maybe mars, but thats it, the mass is just so small compared to earths. I heard Titan is a really good choice for us but that has a smaller mass then earths too,

how will it make sense that people can travel between worlds without gravity and changing weight being a paralyzing issue?
