What is the best way to figure cheats out in a game?

I mean without finding them on the internet. I want to know any hints/tips on how to figure them out.

Anything would be great thanks.
 
Unless you are a real hacker you can't do it. Maybe on code input where you can input any characters might be effective. Like for example money cheat try GIVEMEMONEY on the input if it doesn't work try another combination. But most of the game cheats are revealed after a while roght after their release
