What is the best way to convert a large flv file to mp3?

My friend recorded a concert on ustream.tv and I want to put his music on my ipod. His whole flash video is 3 hours and around 300 mb. I've downloaded the flv but I need either a website or software that can convert my whole video into mp3 format. Most websites require me to pay money to convert large files but I do not want to pay money. Does anyone know a free converter I can use for large files?
