Background:
I need a new smart phone with a physical keyboard. Email and multimedia are very important to me. So i decided to buy HTC desire Z. I am currently in a contract with Fido.
Bell has the HTC desire Z for 499.95 without a contract. However, they also require at least one month voice plan (30 $)+ activation fee (35 $). In addition, i need to unlock the phone, which costs at least $ 20.
Question:
Is there a better way to get an unlocked HTC desire Z? (I am a little bit unhappy with paying Bell 30+35=75 $ extra for a plan that i will never use).
By the way, it will be very expensive to terminate my contract with Fido
