You'll find luxurious / all around tires like the Michelin Harmony and Symmetry / Goodyear Comfort Tread will do you best in the long run. "Sporty tires" are always way to expensive, last maby a third the time as a passenger tire and the noise/ride will get to you after a month. I mean to say how often can you hit a turn at high speeds. Gets old quick.
Go with a decent all around-er like above.
