We love Pinaccle Peak in San Dimas...located off the 210 fwy (exit San Dimas Ave). The restaurant is very casual with a hillbilly-type setting with all the fixins. The servers all have their own unique nickname...our last waitress' name was "Wildflower" ...great food (steaks are delicious) with a fun atmosphere...if you dare to wear a tie, beware...you just might get it chopped off http://www.pinnaclepeaksteakhouse.com/
My other favorite is North Woods Inn in Covina (between the 10 and the 210 fwy on Azusa Ave) ...I can't get enough of their all-you-can-eat salad and cheesebread...THE BEST OF THE BEST! Though, in my opinion, the steaks at Pinnacle Peak have a slightly better flavor, but I certainly prefer the side plates at North Woods as well as the woodsy log cabin setting.
